Coconut cultivation promotion

The Coconut Cultivation Board will promote coconut cultivation in the Ruhunu-Walawe Development Zone.

Under the programme, 10,000 coconut plants will be cultivated in Sevanagala, Suriyawewa, Embilipitiya and Kolonna Divisional Secretariat areas.

The Coconut Cultivation Board will supply improved varieties of coconut plants and other facilities to cultivators, Coconut Cultivation Board Sources said.
