NDB supports local textile manufacturers
The National Development Bank PLC (NDB) partnered Ransalu 2012" the
22 annual national textile exhibition, organized by the Department of
Textile Development of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.

The event held under the patronage of Economic Minister, Basil
Rajapaksa showcased creations of many local manufacturers representing
Sri Lanka's handlooms, textile, fabrics and apparel industries.
Commenting on the partnership, Chief Operating Officer of NDB,
Indrajit Wickramasinghe stated, "We are proud and honoured to be a part
of this significant national event that integrates all spheres of
textile and handloom manufactures of Sri Lanka. As a Bank committed for

The textile industry in particular, promises high growth potential
and the Bank is determined to fuel the growth of this sector to help
meet its fullest potential.
This partnership for Ransalu textile exhibition with the Ministry of
Industry and Commerce further reiterates our continued support towards
developing local industries and SMEs.
