Electric fences to be rebuilt

The Wildlife Conservation Department launched a process to rebuild electric fences in Kantale. The electric fences are dilapidated, sources in the Mahaweli A Zone said.

One of the two fences is between the Kantale colonies of Agbopura and Divulgasveva. It is 20 kms long.

The other one from Seenipura colony to the Vaan-ela colony is 18 kms. The department is carrying out the building of the fences in collaboration with the Civil Defence Force.
