JIT launches SAP Academy

Just In Time Group (JIT), a fully-owned Sri Lankan company and one of the largest systems integrators in Sri Lanka launched the SAP Academy on December 4, 2012 in partnership with SAP India (Pvt) Ltd. The Academy is located within the Imperial Institute of Higher Education (IIHE) Campus at Station Road, Tower Building, and Colombo 4.

JIT has identified the growing demand for SAP education and SAP professionals in the local and international job markets, which enabled them to start the SAP Academy in Sri Lanka. SAP Education encompasses a range of benefits to students including a competitive edge in the global IT job market and increased employability. SAP education also instills the skills and knowledge needed to tackle the most challenging projects and gives a competitive edge to meet the strategic goals of your organization.

There are two training methodologies used at the SAP Academy, which are classroom training and web-based training. The classroom training is led by a SAP certified consultant from overseas.

JIT is forging ahead to ramp up their activities in the coming months and will begin SAP courses in January 2013. As a pre-requisite to obtain a SAP qualification, a student requires a certain level of domain knowledge and experience or a professional qualification. Students will be able to receive SAP course schedules by registering with JIT SAP Academy at IIHE.
