DG Fashion Garments (Pvt) Ltd. won the Gold award for the large
category at the Southern Province Entrepreneur Awards Ceremony 2012.
Southern Province Governor Kumari Balasuriya, quoting Irish- French
economist Richard Cantillon, said that an entrepreneur was not just a
businessman who engaged in mere buying and selling, but was instead an
economic architect who paid a certain price for a product to resell it
at an uncertain price, thereby making decisions about obtaining and
using the resources, while consequently admitting the risk of the
enterprise.
