Situated in the very heart of Colombo’s finest locations where every top company, embassies and society resides in, you will find a little bit of Italy as well making cozy nest in a corner.

This is none other than Café Pascucci which is managed by CEO Rasangi Weerasinghe and her partner Group Managing Director Dr. Sujeewa Lokuhewa. Caffe Pascucci which is one of the world’s famous brands in Europe opened its 200th door down Wijerama Road in September 2011.

“We are catering coffee and food. From Ice Green tea, Ice Lemon tea, Ice Peach tea to espresso coffee”, Rasangi said speaking to the Zest. Capaccino is the number one seller here and our food is of course mainly Italian dishes.

Lot of our clients like to have the savoury items and soups and we have got a wide variety of savoury dishes. We also have a unique powder for the coffees and also have organic drinks.

Everything is fresh off the over such as pizza and we don’t have anything pre-cooked and guests have the choice of choosing from a variety of other dishes – hotdogs, pasta, rice, submarines, sandwiches and more. The fast selling desserts are Tiramisu and Panna Cotta.

Themed with a black and red and white seating, the Caffe can accommodate around 100 people. Rasangi added that there is free wi-fi for people who want to sip a coffee while doing their work or catching up with friends abroad.

“Most of our customers, around 70 percent are foreigners and they are very happy with what they have. We also have a special area for events, birthdays, seminars, and get together and can cater to around 50 people”, she went on to say. Most of the coffee shops are located in Colombo 07 and we have unique spot as it’s more spacious and we have two parking spots for the customers.

We have 30 to 35 people working on shifts and all of them are trained thorough by experts and we get them down as well to keep them updated. We are open from 7am to 11pm for breakfast, lunch and dinner and we serve every kind and we are also a Halal certified restaurant.

Guests who are looking forward to head to Pascucci in the coming days and months and are American Express cardholders are in for a special treat as they are offering a 12.5 discount till February 2013.

They say coffee is being served everywhere but they only serve only one blend as to Pascucci which serves eight blends of coffee. So I guess all one and I mean by coffee addicts :)...should go ahead and try these blends and flavours and see how it satisfies your coffee delight.
