Softlogic Holdings Rs. 200 mn Galleria opens

Softlogic Holdings has invested Rs. 200 million for its first ever
multi-brand mini department store, “Galleria”, in Colombo.
The store, which opened on Friday, targets the entire family with
product ranges at Galleria featuring style, quality and the latest
international trends that will appeal to all age groups by carrying a
full line-up of international heavy weight fashion and technology brand
names.
The store contains a wide selection of branded names such as Levi’s,
Nike and Giordano from the branded apparel category, with over a third
of the floor area of the mall, being dedicated to world famous state of
the art consumer electronics from LED, LCD TV’s to air conditioners,
refrigerators, washing machines, kitchen appliances, mobile and smart
phones, notebooks and PC’s from electronics giants such as Panasonic,
Samsung, Nokia, Dell, Apple, Candy, Kelvinator, Russell Hobbs and Xerox
to name but a few. Softlogic have opened nearly 160 electronics
showrooms islandwide.
A watch station, branded “International Watches” has also been set up
offering a wide selection of timeless classic watches from brands such
as Fossil, DKNY, Diesel, Skagen and Adidas, while a perfumery outlet
offers the latest fragrances and cosmetics. “Colombo has been a very
successful market for our diverse portfolio of international brand names
since introduction to the local market and we take this opportunity to
mark our success with a grand opening of the “Galleria” which will
contain all these brands under one roof,” Ashok Pathirage,
Chairman/Managing Director, Softlogic Holdings PLC.
All Consumer Electronics products carry the iron clad Softlogic
warranty as the company is the authorized distributor for all brands on
offer, giving customers security in addition to quality. “We will look
