MAS Active completed the Mercantile cricket double by first winning the league championship and the knock out tournament beating Hatton National Bank by 38 runs at the Colts CC Grounds, Havelock Park.

In a low scoring game MAS Active batting first collected 226 in 47 overs. Sameera Soysa (54) and Udara Jayasudera (43) were the chief run getters. In reply HNB were dismissed for 188 in 47.3 overs. Skipper Kosala Kulasekera (48) was the top scorer for the bankers.
