Lavinia recently.

Most outstanding Player of the Tournament (Boys) Sandesh Nissanka of Ananda College, Colombo

Sandesh beat Lithmina Mahanama of Wesley College, Colombo - 11/09, 11/07 in the under-15 singles final and won the under-18 title defeating Royalist Senal Rathnayake in the much contested three setter final (11/02, 04/11,11/08). Ruvini emerged champion of under-18 girls' singles beating Chamathsara Fernando of Girls High School, Mount Lavinia in an easy straight-set final (12/10, 11/05).

Even though Ruvini has qualified for the under-15 final too, the 14-year lass could not succeed as she tasted a bitter defeat in the hands of Visakhian Kithmadie Ranawaka who won the crown after three setter hard battle.

After a shocking set back in the first set (8/11) Ruvini put up a good performance to win the following set (11/4). But Kithmadie did not allow her opponent to seize the control and bagged the title by winning third set (11/9).
