Eight illegal sand transporters fined

Laggala Police filed charges against eight men who allegedly transported sand illegally. The Police arrested the men in Laggala while transporting sand in eight trucks. Meanwhile, a main road connecting the Mahaweli B Zone and the Rambaken-oyaMahaweli Zone is to be repaired by the government.

A large sum of money has been allocated to launch the project.
