| Health Minister Maithripala Sirisena
handed over the Five Year National Health Plan compiled by

| Honorary Consul of Sri Lanka in
Uganda Kana V Kananathan yesterday met the Minister of
Foreign Affairs of Southern Sudan Nhial Deng Nhial. During
the meeting, the two discussed strengthening economic and
political ties between both countries, bilateral trade,
service and development cooperation. Kananathan briefed the
Minister on the development activities taking place across
the country and informed that President Mahinda Rajapaksa's
New Africa Policy emphasizes the importance of strengthening
ties with the African continent. Minister Deng Nhial assured
Mr Kananathan of his country's support to Sri Lanka. |
