The collection titled 'Free Flying', typical of the signature Bai Lou style conveys the subtle beauty of woven structures and the endless possibilities of the loom finished textile.

Bai Lou sarees are extremely popular and constantly make the headlines with the likes of Bollywood actors and other top names wearing it. Known for their trademark weaving technique - close to that followed by the royal looms of the Bengali aristocracy, the sarees encompass a radical blend of techniques and rich, vibrant hues.

At Rithihi, the signature collection featured exquisite silks woven using the ancient Japanese shibori technique; geometric, floral patterns in the Abir Jamdani collection, Andhra Pradesh's Telia sarees and Angami Tribe inspired 'Naga' collection.

Rithihi has also been the melting pot for contemporary Sri Lankan designers ranging from silver jewellers to saree designers and weavers.
