A Chinese feast for the season

Cinnamon Grand presents a Chinese Christmas buffet at the Courtyard from December 7 to the 30 for when one’s had their fill of the roast turkey, stuffing, plum sauce and salad laden feasts, this season. Instead, give into the temptation that is Chinese cuisine and indulge in an oriental repast, guaranteed to leave all merry with the exotic flavours of the Far East.

This ‘all you can eat’ buffet celebrates the season with a truly delightful spread, boasting an array of Chinese starters, salads, soups, rice and noodles, main courses and action stations, complete with a traditional dim sum corner. Christmas has never been this indulgent as a banquet of beef, pork, chicken, lamb and seafood, including fish, prawns and cuttlefish cooked in typically Chinese recipes will seduce everyones senses.

Vegetarians will not be spoilt for choice with an alluring offering of Schezwan style eggplant, stir fried tofu with abalone and broccoli, wok fried Chinese greens in garlic sauce, stir fried kankung, bamboo shoots and young corn in egg sauce, vege spring rolls, deep fired wontons and more.

The rice and noodle corner will dish out Shanghai style vegetable fired rice, wok fried egg noodle with bok choi and bean sprouts, prawn, crab and egg fried rice, Singapore curry vermicelli, Hainanese chicken fried rice and chicken and prawns mein noodle with choi sum.

Seasoned in authentic Chinese spices and sauces, each dish is prepared to pay homage to distinguishable Chinese flavours, albeit the buffet also offers options for diners who prefer that familiar Sri Lankan tang in their Chinese food. End off your oriental feast with a selection of traditional Chinese desserts such as steamed Chinese nuts and fruits cake, almond cake with peikin dust, Chinese custard tarts and Chinese sticky cake.
