Traditional Christmas at the GFH
Welcome the dawn of Christmas in traditional splendour, with the
traditional of celebrating the Season in grand style since 1864, Galle
Face Hotel is perfectly poised to give yet another spell of splendid
festivities, which will linger in one’s memories.
This year the traditional theme would be Berries and leaves, with the
spirit of the season as tradition lives on at GFH.
Gourmet cuisine covering the best of East and West, Christmas
specialties’, the best Kiddies Christmas party with Santa’s arrival,
sing along carols, choice of wines and spirits and live entertainment
will be in the spirit of this Season at Hotel.
Christmas is indeed a truly magical time for children. This Christmas
GFH has pulled out all stops to ensure a truly magical Christmas for
children and even for adults who have that little child in them. The
early Kiddies Xmas party will take place on December 14 from 5pm to 8pm
at the South lawn.
Daily deals on Christmas goodies will be available from December 8
from 8am to 8pm at the Pasticcino. Pastry Chefs have arranged an array
of festive goodies like Christmas cake, Yule log, Christmas plum
pudding, Christmas Breudher, Mince pie, Love cake, Christmas Tom turkey,
Roast leg of lamb and many more. Festive hampers will also be available
during the Season.
Christmas Carols with Choro Caliber will come alive at the GFH on
December 21 from 5pm.
Let goodwill and cheer prevail on this wondrous day. Christmas Day is
that special day when one gather with near and dear in the spirit of
goodwill and cheer amidst great festivities.
A traditional Christmas brunch with activities for Children will be
featured at the Verandah Restaurant on December 25 from 11.30am to
2.30pm. An array of traditional Christmas delicacies’, live
entertainment, children’s fun activities will be on the cards during the
Christmas brunch.
Join in the merriment as throngs of revelers gather during New Years
Eve to usher in the best New Year 2013 in fitting style with Anno Domini
and Dj’s lined up to rock till the wee hours of the morning. |
