Sadaharitha Plantations bags Gold
Sadaharitha Plantations Ltd, the leader of private commercial
forestry management in Sri Lanka, received the Gold award for best
environmental practices at the National Green Awards 2012 organized by
the Central Environmental Authority.

The event was graced by President Mahinda Rajapaksa on Monday. The
ceremony was organized by the CEA. H.K. Rohana, Chief Executive Director
for Sadaharitha Plantations said, “I attribute this success to the trust
our customers have placed in us, which has earned us this prestigious
award. We have kept our promise to our clients and moreover to the
entire universe by adhering to the best environmental practices. It is
the true leadership of our Chairman and the Directors with the
supportive actions of the heads of department and all staff members
which has enabled Sadaharitha to to reach these new heights.”
The Central Environmental Authority (CEA) spearheaded the National
Green Awards to emphasize the importance of keeping the production and
technical services environmentally friendly.

coming among the top 7 Gold award winners within the private sector.
