November 30, 2012.
A condolence book is open for visitors at the Indian High Commission,

Colours Nite
President’s College- Sri Jayawardenapura, Kotte will hold its
President’s Colours Nite at the college auditorium on December 6 at 5.30
pm.
Petroleum Industries Minister Susil Premajayantha, Education Minister
Bandula Gunawardena and MP Namal Rajapaksa are expected to grace the
occasion.

Sri Dharmaloka Colours Night
The Colours Night of Sri Dharmaloka College, Kelaniya will be held
tomorrow at 6pm at the college main hall.
Public Relations and Public Affairs Minister Mervyn Silva and old boy
of Sri Dharmaloka College, retired Army officer R A Wimalasena Perera
will be the Chief Guests. Sixty nine winners in all island sports
competitions will be awarded colours while 106 athletes will receive
certificates. The ceremony is organised by the PTI of the school and
staff under the guidance of Principal Col A G Nimal Jayaweera.
Jaffna Division SSP
Inspector General of Police N K Illangakoon has appointed M C
Mohammed Jiffrey as Jaffna Division SSP. Jiffrey joined the Sri Lanka
Police in 1980 as a Sub Inspector and was subsequently promoted Jaffna
ASP and was stationed in 1998.
He also served as Acting Director Welfare and Director Operations and
Training of the Civil Defence Force prior to his present appointment.
