Speaker Chamal Rajapaksa said in Parliament yesterday that he would
look into complaints by MPs of alleged obstructions they had to face
when entering the Parliamentary premises. He said if such impediments
had been made, he would take immediate corrective measures.
He made this comment when Chief Opposition Whip John Amaratunga
raising a privilege matter stated that several MPs faced difficulties in
entering the Parliamentary premises yesterday morning due to unnecessary
obstructions.
