St. Joseph's Enderamulla victorious

St. Joseph's College, Enderamulla beat Senarath Paranavithana National School, Udugampola by eight wickets in their under-13 cricket fixture played recently.

Senarath Paranavithana National School was skittled out for a mere 33 runs in 19.5 overs. Hasindu Sewmina bagged three wickets for seven while Geenath Basilu and Kavinda Peiris captured two for eight and two for three respectively.

In reply, St.Joseph's College scored 96 runs for four in 22.2 overs and declared their first innings. Pasidu Jayath scored 42. Paranavithana N.S.'s second innings ended at 95 in 31 overs with Saveen Balasuriya hitting 34. Hasidu Sewmina (2 for 21), Dilan de Silva (two for 15) and (two for 20) shattered the Paranavithana innings.

Josephians reached their target in the 6th over, losing two wickets.
