Watery grave for Russian

A Russian computer technician drowned in the sea off Marakolliya, Tangalla.

The victim was identified as Posedive Sagi, 31, of Causarew Street, Moscow. His girl friend, Piliyariwa Olga, said they came to Sri Lanka in October.

She said he went for a bath with her. She said he was dragged into the sea while swimming and disappeared. On hearing her shouting, people gathered and searched for him. He was brought ashore and rushed to Tangalla Hospital and transferred to Matara General Hospital where he died.
