Arrack with feminine touch

A woman who was selling foreign arrack without a permit was fined Rs 20,000 by Kurunegala Chief Magistrate Kavindra Nanayakkara.

The accused of Kudagalgamuwa, had sold foreign arrack to a retired policeman attached to the Police Department on November 19.

Wellawa Police producing the woman before court said that the accused had previous convictions for the same offence and two liquor bottles had been in the suspect's possession.
