Reckless youths pay price

Two youths on a motorcycle crashed against a train at Kalutara North Kelido level crossing causing the death of one person. The other was admitted to Kalutara Nagoda General Hospital.

Two army soldiers attached to the Rangala Army camp who had driven the motorcycle through the side way of the gate, had crashed against a train from Colombo to Aluthgama, Kalutara North Police said.

The deceased was identified as Rambukkanage Thushan Dayaratne, a resident of Kalutara North and the other was Pradeep Indika, a resident of Vilegoda, Kalutara North, Police said.
