Virtusa holds Silver Pixels photography exhibition

Virtusa Corporation held Silver Pixels, the global photography
exhibition which showcased the abundant photography skills of Virtusans
for the seventh consecutive year. Silver Pixels has now grown into a
global event.

From a collection of 200 entries, 20 upcoming photographers were
selected as winners by a panel of two judges: Panduka de
Silva-photographer, and past president of the institute of Sri Lankan
Photographers and photographer Sagara Lakmal De Mel.
Silver Pixels is Virtusa's annual photography exhibition which was
established in 2005 by a few pioneers of photographic
enthusiasts. This year a selection of the winners were chosen by the
four main themes of people, places, nature and millennial. Virtusans
captured photographs under these categories and were able to achieve
their goals.
Photographs from the exhibition are used in company material such as
the corporate calendar as well as the Virtusa coffee table book. Sanjeev
Palihawadana, Head of Human Resources Management at Virtusa, Sri Lanka,
said "We at Virtusa place a lot of importance on our people; the
Virtusans.
Hence, we consider it imperative to promote events of this nature as
part of our drive towards harnessing the talent of Virtusans across all
our offices and Advanced Technology Centres.

Withanagey (1 Runner Up, Aruna Dissanayake (2nd Runner Up). Places
category: Sameera Dayanana (Winner), Mohamed IlhamUwais (1st Runner Up),
Anjana Chandrapala (2nd Runner Up), Millennial category: Shihan
Chinthaka (Winner), Chandu Godabedda (1st Runner Up), Shehara Silva (2nd
Runner Up).
