Quincy introduces Otterbox safety cases to SL

Quincy Private Limited, a recently formed company introduced Otterbox
safety cases to the Sri Lankan Market recently. While the company is
spread throughout the world Regional Sales Manager for Otterbox, APAC
South East Asia, Bala Sandesh, said that the company is seeking to have
an office in Australia in the coming year. Sandesh also told the 'Daily
News Business' that they hope to provide a larger variety of products
under the brand name 'Otterbox'.
"Although our main products are safety cases we hope to move further
from it and design our own accessories that will retain the customers
pricy goods. Our customers are people who are always on the move and
those who are concerned about their high quality goods, thus this move
would be timely."

Otterbox plans to introduce a series of its phone covers and tab
covers in Sri Lanka. While they also introduced there latest 'Armour
Series' which would come into the market in January 2013, mobile uses
countrywide will be able to purchase these innovative and safe covers in
Colombo.
However Quincy plans to take the product throughout Sri Lanka via
their various distribution channels. The products will also be available
at the Flagship stores of Etisalat, Dialog VAYU, Futureworld and
Nastars.
"Presently our main product is phone cases of the Defender series and
we plan on having road shows in Sri Lanka to introduce our product, this
was successful in many other countries and we hope it will be successful
in Sri Lanka as well. We don't necessarily have a strategic plan as to
which country we introduce our products, but our intention is to provide
our customers safety solutions for there priced goods," Sandesh said.
Sandesh Quincy is currently a 1bn entity and has been placed 70 in
the list of growing companies in the United States. He also said that
they plan being under the top 25 growing companies in the years to come.
Meanwhile Director of Nawaloka Hospitals Private limited and one of
the three entrepreneurs who formed Quincy Private Limited said that
Qincy's mission is to offer its customers the highest quality cell phone
accessories.

that are priced appropriately for each segment and will offer the
services that best suit each segment's needs", said Dharmadasa.
Quincy intends to establish itself as the leading distributor of high
end cellular phone accessories. Dharmadasa went on to say that in Sri
Lanka, a large number of mobile phone users, use extremely expensive and
sensitive devices such as PDAS which are highly sensitive and prone to
breakages.
"Otterbox is a premium brand and a superior product. We need to stay
ahead of the market, to continue to 'out-innovate' both in products and
business processes, systems, and brand. Sensing and adjusting to the
market is very important. What does the customer 'feel' with your
product? We are constantly looking to improve", Dharmadasa said.Otterbox
is already in Asia with corporate offices in Hong Kong and Australia. As
Smartphone popularity grows around the world it is only natural that
companies follow with protective solutions.
