Abans promote a greener evolution
Abans jointly with LG Electronics hosted the LG Multi V Convention,
recently at Waters Edge, Battaramulla. The convention focused on
"GREENER evolution for a better tomorrow" promoting LG Multi V HVAC
System for Central Airconditioning. The attendance was significant.

As Sri Lanka has transformed the construction industry with green
building practices, it was a perfect opportunity for Customers,
Architects, Consultants who were looking forward for a Green Building
and LEED Certification.
This event was enlivened by the presence of Guest speaker Prof.
Attalage, Deputy Vice Chancellor, University of Moratuwa, Seung Uk
Lee-LEED Specialist of LG Korea, Hobok Lee Deputy General Manager HVAC
Engineering Team, Dustin Lee, Marketing Director-A/c Products Korea,
Buddhika Wasala, Senior Manager-Sales and Marketing Manager. The LEED
certification and the energy efficiency requirement for a Green Building
were very precisely elaborated.
Prof. Attalage focused his presentation on "Beyond Certification: the
true benefits of Green Building" and explained "Why as LEED Created?"

Seung Uk Lee said that climate is already evident in Sri Lanka and
undoubtedly made an interesting presentation especially to HVAC
Consultants by explaining the six key benefits of LG Multi VI and how LG
could help customers for "Green Building" projects and briefed on Green
Building Objectives, Benefits and LEED Ratings. He appropriately
explained how the LG Multi VIII Inverter Scroll, a new high side shell
innovation offers a more compact size for the same capacity output with
greater reliability; how Rapid Start Cooling feature reach from set
point temperatures 40% faster, and how AHRI 1230 Certification of Multi
VIII is one of the first performance certified VRF systems. This insures
building owners receive verified ratings which comply with all national
energy codes.
Seung UK Lee also elaborately explained how Compact Footprint in
Multi VIII supports more indoor zones and takes up less outdoor space.
"When space or access is at a premium, this equates to significant cost
advantages for the owner on large projects."
