Akram rescues Lake House

Lake House beat Shan Travels 4-3 in a penalty shootout in their Mercantile Services Division two soccer match played at CR and FC Grounds on Thursday. Both teams fought hard to score goals but could not hit the net.

Lake House goalkeeper Mohamed Akram was brilliant, ruining several attempts made by the Shan Travels players.

The match finally had to be decided on a penalty shootout after a scoreless full time and Akram starred once again, stopping three penalty attempts while the kickers did the rest to assure a 4-3 win for Lake House which was led by Sandy Wilson.
