Pre-Christmas workshop for Lady Regency members
Earl's Regency, Kandy organized a pre-Christmas workshop for Lady
Regency members which concluded recently.
The objective of the workshop was to give the ladies an opportunity
to learn the creative art of making festive decorations as well as
learning to cook a festive feast.
The Christmas decoration demonstration was conducted by talented
florist Dhammika while Executive Chef Wasantha Peiris conducted a
cookery demonstration where he showed the ladies how to prepare a slow
roasted stuffed derby chicken roll with cranberry and giblet sauce.
Chef Sugath then went on to demonstrate to the ladies how to make a
traditional Dutch Brudeur which has been a favourite amongst Sri Lankan
for generations.
The members were also treated to some handy house keeping tips
including fancy bed making ideas and towel folding techniques which was
demonstrated by Ranjith and Lenin from the Earl's Regency House Keeping
team.
The Hotel's F & B Captain Sampath demonstrated to the ladies how to
create a Santa's Boot napkin fold which the ladies were delighted with.
Since Christmas is a season of indulgence the tips provided by the gym
instructor on how to keep fit through the the holiday season were
received by the ladies with much enthusiasm.
