Inter Religious Alliance for National
Unity in collaboration with the religious leaders organised
an inter-religious blessing ceremony to invoke blessings on
President Mahinda Rajapaksa who completed the Second Year of
the Second Term of the Presidency. It was held at the
Vidyalanakara Pirivena, Peliyagoda on Sunday. A press
conferrence followed the blessings ceremony at the
Peliyagoda Vidyalankara Pirivena chaired by Ven.
Kamburugamuwwe Vajira Thera. Rev. Babu Sharma Kurukkal, Rev.
Sarath Hettiarchchi, Alhaj Dr. Hussain Maulana were among
those present at the ceremony and press conference.
Modern equipment and tools were
distributed to several beauty saloons in the Hambantota
District recently as a measure of assisting the owners of
these saloons to develop the technology of their business.
