CIS beat Kurunegala BC 62-57

Colombo International School Basketball Club qualified for the semi-finals as they beat Kurunegala Basketball Club by 62 points to 57 in the Carlton Cup "B" division quarter-final match worked off at Henry Pedris Courts yesterday. The lads from Colombo played a power packed game and were able to keep their lead throughout the game. CIS were leading 31 - 26 at halftime. The CIS dominated from the beginning and never allowed opponents to make in roads at any stage.

K.S.Dane was the main contributor for the winners with 20 points . I.Vajira was the best scorer for the Kurunegala BC lads with 19 points.
