Woman nabbed for selling Pangolin meat

A woman who allegedly killed a Pangolin (kaballewa) and sold its meat inside her house was arrested by the Police in Ingiriya, Galkanda on Saturday. The police found 3.8 kilos of Pangolin flesh inside the 28 - year - old woman’s house.

Investigations revealed the woman had already sold a stock of meat.

The suspect will be produced before the Horana magistrate.
