Rain hampers cricket at Kalutara

Rain prevented Katukurunda R.C.M.V.,newcomers to school cricket in scoring a historic victory over formidable Tissa M.M.V in an Under 13 inter school match..It was a fine allround performance by skipper Ruwan Perera who scored 79 runs and captured two wickets for 10 runs which helped Katukurunda school to take major honours. The match was played at Kalutara Esplanade.
