Discard spinner Sachithra excels with bat

Mas Active the last year Leauge champions suffered another blow at Moors grounds against HNB in their mercantile A division cricket match which was ended as a no result due to rain.

Sri Lanka discard off spinner Sachithra Senanayake hammered 81 not out in 41 balls which included 6 sixers and 6 fours to enable Mas Active to reach 314 for 8 in their 50 overs. Geeth Alwis (64) and Angelo Perera (50) also scored half centuries.

In reply HNB were 76 for no loss in 13 overs when the rain came down.
