Ten clubs vie for KAFL trophy

Ten clubs have entered the inter-club knock out Soccer Tournament organised by the Kandy Association Football league for the ‘KAFL Challenge trophy.

The new Honorary Secretary of KAFL S. Mediwake said that despite the high cost of ground hire charges all matched will be played at the Bogambara Stadium to attract the spectaters. They will be playing two matches on the same day.

The teams which will be in the fray are Kandy York SC, Hylins SC, Golden star SC, Scenarist Football and Athletic Club Kandy Municipal SC, Sissu, SC, Green Park SC, Angustawatte SC, Guldwing SC and Madyamalanka SC.
