The victorious under 19 boys handball team of D S Senanayake

D S Senanayke College, Colombo emerged boys' champions in the under
19 All Island Schools Handball Championships when they defeated Prince
of Wales in the finals by 6 goals to 5 at St Jone's grounds, Panadura
recently.
Medabedda Vidyalaya, Galewela won the girls championship by defeating
St Anthony's College, Wasalakotte by 7 goals to 4.
The tournament was held with the participation of 22 boys teams and
12 girls teams for Trophy, plate and cup championships.
