Police recover hidden cartridges
Ariyapala Wansathilake - Kurunegala Central special
About 24 cartridges was recovered by the Kurunegala Police yesterday
which were hidden under a “Nuga” tree near the Ranthaliya tank in
Kurunegala.
The police arrested two persons involved in a number of crimes
committed in the Kurunegala District.
They were produced before the Kurunegala Chief Magistrate on Monday
and remanded.
