Total Solar eclipse tomorrow, not visible here
The last Solar eclipse out of the two this year, will occur tomorrow.
The eclipses' partial phrase will be visible from all of Australia, New
Guinea and New Zealand, as well as part of the Antarctic and a far -
Southern slice of South America.
The eclipse begins at 1.08am and ends at 6.16am, Prof Chandana
Jayaratne of the Department of Physics, University of Colombo said.
The greatest eclipse will occur over the South Pacific Ocean at
3.42am with the moon fully covering the sun for four minutes and two
seconds.
The total solar eclipse can only be seen from a narrow corridor
running southeast across Queensland and the Northern Territory in
Australia.
