M.V. Ever Libra calls at SLPA

Evergreen Line's latest addition to its fleet M.V. Ever Libra on her
maiden voyage to Europe from Asia, called at the Jaya Container Terminal
(JCT) of Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA) recently. The Ship 334 m in
length and 8542 TEUs in capacity, discharged and loaded local and
transshipment containers.
To mark this occasion, the Master of M.V. Ever Libra Capt. Lee
Seu-Pei, on behalf of Evergreen Line, presented a memento to Dr. Priyath
Bandu Wickrema, the Chairman of Sri Lanka Ports Authority.
Evergreen made an announcement in year 2011, that it would upgrade
and expand its fleet by 100 more modern, eco friendly and larger
capacity ships. Evergreen's volume throughput in Colombo is expected to
increase by 25% during 2012 as against the volume handled in 2011.
