Xavierites beat Joseph Vaz

St Xavier's College, Marawila beat their arch-rivals Joseph Vaz College, Wennappuwa by a huge margin of 175 runs in their inter-school under 13 division two tournament cricket match played at Wennappuwa and with this victory St Xaviers were unbeaten and leading in the group with two outrights, three first innings and one abandoned due to rain.

Vazians batting first were skittled out for a paltry 22 runs with Udara Mendis claiming 6 for 7 runs and in reply St. Xaviers declared at 197 for 5 with Kalindu Rashmik 86 runs and Kavindu Erosh scoring 50 runs.
