M.R.M.Rishad, a promising and talented young soccerite, a versatile
product of Galle Saint Alloysius college was felicitated at the Junior
Prize Day of the College held under the patronage of southern Province
governor Kumari Balasuriya. The star footballer Rishad, still a teenager
and a member of the country’s U 14 National Football Team has
participated a number of international soccer events representing the
country.
He was the only player from Galle district who was included in the
National Football Team which took-part in Asian Football Tournament
organized by Asian Football Federation in Kathmandu, Nepal, 2010 Asian
Football Festival in Iran, and the same festival in Tokyo in 2012. |
