Ananda rout Thomians

Ananda College, Colombo trounced more fancied St. Thomas College, Mt. Lavinia by a huge margin of 271 runs in their inter-school under 13 division one tournament cricket match played at Ananda Mawatha, Colombo.

Thomians batting first were bowled out for 70 runs with Thisara Santhusha and Asel Dhamsika claiming 4 for 13 and 3 for 12 respectively.

Ananda batted till the close and they were 341/7 with a brilliant 141 runs by Shamal Hirushan and ably supported by Dushan Hettige 71 and Thisara Santhusha 41.
