Kaizen Experts to conduct seminars in Colombo

Kaizen Institute experts, Jayanth Murthy and Narasimhan Gopalakrishnan, will be conducting seminars on November eighth and ninth. The seminars are titled “Organizational Transformation through Kaizen Management System” and “Creating Material and Information Flow for Cash Flow” .

Kaizen is a Japanese term which denoted “improvement for the better” but it’s modern connotation is to continually make improvements by observations at the workplace. Kaizen focuses on making improvements through employee observations of how work is done, and works on the philosophy that everything can be improved even on a daily basis.

Kaizen creates a courageous belief that no matter how small every improvement counts and no matter how difficult no problem is insurmountable. Kaizen is different to the big bang changes and will try improvements with little or no investment. Kaizen is credited with having contributed to the rapid development of Japan by improving competitiveness even as the Yen was increasing in value and making Japanese products more expensive.

The Japanese management guru Masaki Imai published his world famous book “Kaizen: The Secret of Japan’s Competitive Success” which took the world by storm.

Kaizen became a household word and Masaaki Imai created the Kaizen Institute. Today the Kaizen Institute operates in over 50 countries and has over 350 consultants who have the deepest experience and knowledge of Kaizen and Lean Management.

The two speakers have loads of experience and consulted in many countries in different industries. With Kaizen becoming very popular in Sri Lanka this would be a rare opportunity for those who desire to acquire the knowledge and techniques of Kaizen.

The emphasis for the first seminar would be on manufacturing while the second seminar is open to both manufacturing and service.
