Interactive Seminar on Business Improvement
Merchant Bank of Sri Lanka PLC (MBSL), in its series of seminars to
boost the business sector is organizing a seminar on "Three perspectives
of managing business". It is to be held at Earls Court, Cinnamon
Lakeside, Colombo on November 6 2012 from 4.00 pm to 6.30 pm.
Restructuring is a corporate term used to include re-organising the
legal, ownership, operational or other strategies/ processes of the
organization for the purpose of profitability or to suit the present
requirements. It is a time consuming tedious task which should be
properly assessed and implemented, since a lapse in the process could
lead to a long term impact on the company.
This vital area will be covered by Sunil G Wijesinha, Management
Consultant and Trainer, Vice Chairman, Employers' Federation of Ceylon
and Senior Deputy President, National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka.
Going public was a trend that was seen after the war ended. Many
institutions derived many benefits from gaining listed entity status.
However, developing a suitable capital product will be the success
element of the institution. This could range from a basic share to a
convertible debt issue or even a complex hybrid structure. This agenda
