"Noritake Lanka Porcelain will open its exclusive Kirulapona factory
store on October 26, to cater to all its income groups with a investment
of Rs. 7 million", Manager Marketing Sales, Noritake Lanka Porcelain
Limited, Kumara Wickrama said.
The domestic retailing segment has improved tremendously after the
war and a large number of tourists arriving in Sri Lanka have selected
Noritake showrooms as one of their main shopping destinations for
porcelain products.
"The new branch will cater to the increasing demand, and it has
introduced attractive prices with discounts for the benefit of their
customers throughout the year," Kumara said. The company has also
decided to open this branch to make the public aware about the brand and
its fine novel designs.
The Bone China dinnerware has become the most favourite and exquisite
designs amongst the local customers who happen to visit Noritake
outlets.
All the latest designs of fine China are manufactured in Nortitake's
factory in Matale. At present the company produces one million pieces of
ceramics per month.
Noritake today continues to maintain its legendary quality control
and skill levels while advancing rapidly in the area of new design ideas
and technical solutions.
