Eagle 6's cricket tourney on October 13

A popular cricket tournament in logistics industry, Eagle 6's will be worked off on October 13 at NCC grounds for the fifth consecutive year.

Eagle 6's formally known as 'Eagle Logistics Challenge Trophy' was inaugurated in 2007 with the participation of two teams and played as a friendly encounter with the aim to strengthen customer relationships.

However today this has become a most wanted event by the customers of Eagle Logistics and 42 teams of top corporate customers are battling for the trophy this year. The participating teams are DPJH, Loadstar, Hants, Dax holdings, Pan Audio, CW Mackie, Ceylon Oxigen, Softlogic, Reebonn, Coca Cola, Nestle, Abans, Godrij, Winterquilts, Antler, Hemas, AMW, DPS Lanka,Maliban Textiles, Dialog, Voguetex, Hands Int, Suzuki Lanka, Stafford Motors, ODEL, Naturub, Nitmo, Hunters, Industrial Clothing, Textile Int, Fentons, Screenline, Iceman, Aqua Technologies, Kramski, ETAL, EDNA, BobbinWheelworks, Technomedics, A&F Holdings and Bio Foods.

Eagle Logistics Managing Director Asanga Weerackdoy addressing the captains meeting at SSC recently said that their company is celebrating seven years this October and through out the history, they always wanted the customers to enjoy working with them. 'Apart from business activities we involved with cricket as an entertainment since it is the passion of any Sri Lankan,' said Eagle Logistics MD.
