Bollywood style at Earl's

The members of the Lady Regency Club, the exclusive ladies club of Earl's Regency, Kandy were hosted to a members night on September 21. The theme of the event was Bollywood Night which featured beautiful sights, sounds and dynamic Bollywood entertainment.

The Hotels in-house Indian Chef, Balbier Singh created a sumptuous Indian buffet which included delicacies from different regions of India. The guests attending the function were greeted with a warm namaste and the traditional placing of the pottu on the forehead.

The ladies and enthusiastic children were treated to a mehendi corner where trained mehendi artists created elaborate designs. The home town dance troupe Kathak Kendraa performed three entertaining dance sequences which enthralled both young and old alike.

The Best Dressed Lady, the Best Dancer and the Raffle Draw prizes were all sponsored by Ranjana's Saree Center.

The event was a roaring success with lots of fun and merriment experienced by all.
