Flavours of Pakistan

World renowned Chef Amir Khan is back in Sri Lanka to take your culinary experience to the next limit. Cooking up a storm at the Cinnamon Grand Courtyard, he promises to satisfy the penchant for Pakistani cuisine, as well as some spicy Persian, Turco-Mongol, Afghan, Sikh, Arabic and British dishes. As this year's World Spice Festival fires off, the hotel will dish out an authentic Pakistani spread that promises to gratify any gourmand.

Have the choice of bready bases such as chapatis, tandoori roti, paratha and naan or try a rice repast of authentic Basmati rice pulao, Murgh biryani with pickles or Tahiri biryani. The barbecued Peshawari mutton, boneless (boti) Bhawali and Lahori meat selections on skewers, the piquant beef Lahori Nihari, Chicken Karahi and grilled lamb kebabs and tikkas are specially seasoned for those who enjoy their meat. Veggi fans are not left ignored and are offered an array of vegan dishes to relish, including lentil and chickpea fusions, vegetable kebabs and Lahori dishes such as Punjabi Bhartha and Harybhary Tinday.

This fabulous feast is on from October 5 to the 14 at the hotel's Courtyard Restaurant
