Three held in illegal sand mine raid

Special Task Force personnel raided an illegal sand mine in Teldeniya, Narampanawa on Saturday and arrested three suspects.

They also seized equipment used to mine sand. The raid was conducted following a tip-off. The suspects and the equipment were handed over to Teldeniya Police.
