Amit shared his views on how women suffer from war with the many
social roles they play in their everyday lives.
He shared how relief based models of development can lead the
communities to a culture of dependency and in overcoming these
difficulties.
Relief based models should always engage the local community into
development projects where they can successfully integrate and make a
sense of belonging, he said.
The importance of using art as a medium of reconciling communities
and to share their experiences could be an important factor in
reconciliation said Amit.
The session concluded with a question and answer session providing
insight to many positive initiatives. The hub members had a mindful
