People's Bank, offers benefits for World Children's Day

A press briefing held at the People's Bank head office in the
presence of Deputy General Manager (Retail Banking) Renuka Jayasinghe,
L.L. Ranasinghe, Assistant General Manager (Liabilities), Chandrasiri
Fernando, Assistant General Manager (Marketing and Product Development),
Pradeep Edirisinghe, Sisu Udana, Product Manager and Siva Tillainathan,
Isuru Udana, Product Manager on felicitating International Children's
Day and Elders Day.
The proverbial saying, 'Great Oaks from little Acorns grow' is
synonymous with People's Bank while felicitating both Children and
Elders on International Children's and Elders Day, with many benefits

minimum Rs. 5,000 in the account during the period October 1, 2012 to
November 30, are entitled to this scheme and every multiple of Rs. 5,000
gives more chances of winning. Isuru Udana and Sisu Udana savings
accounts for children can be opened at any of the 720 People's Bank
branches islandwide. Parents are invited to join the scheme to reap the
many benefits on offer by the People's Bank.
Considering the great contribution by senior citizens towards the
national development of the country, moving on to retirement whether
they have worked in the state or private sector, People's Bank has

is a savings account for senior citizens and in felicitating
International Elders Day, Peoples' Bank offers an opportunity to win a

This scheme is open to Parinatha account holders from October 01 to
December 31 and to those maintaining a bank balance of Rs. 75,000 until
June 30.
Buddhists could visit Buddhagaya in India, Hindus to Thirupathi,

India.
