Suspect with 48 warrants arrested

Katugastota Police arrested a suspect on whom 48 warrants had been issued.

The Anuradhapura magistrate court had issued 24 warrants and the Galle Magistrate court had issued 19 warrants, the Police said. One warrant each had been issued by Pugoda, Attanagalle, Colombo Fort, Batticaloa and Ratnapura courts.

The man is facing court cases for allegedly defrauding people through a financial company.

The suspect is to be produced before the Kandy court.
