Six suspects in museum robbery re-remanded

Six suspects including two women taken into custody in connection with the alleged theft of gold and precious stone studded artefacts from the museum were yesterday produced before Chief Magistrate Rashmi Singappuli and were re-remanded till October 1.

Some of the suspects are drug addicts and another is said to be an antique collector.Police recovered some of the stolen items sequel to the arrest of a three wheeler driver. The theft had been committed after disabling the CCTV camera.policeinvestigations revealed. The CCD prosecuted.
